Frimley Park Neonatal Unit

We are a Local Neonatal Unit (LNU) for babies born at 27 weeks gestation and above.  We have facilities to care for up to 16 babies, with 2 intensive care, 6 high dependency and 8 special care cot spaces. Our unit is part of the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Neonatal Network which is made up of 13 neonatal units, including Ronald McDonald house (Brighton), and the neonatal transport service. They have virtual tours available giving parents, families and carers a step-by-step tour of the neonatal unit at each hospital. If you would like to view them, you can do so here.

We are extremely proud to have been accredited with the Platinum Bliss Baby Charter Award in 2022, for our ongoing commitment to family integrated care.

Frimley Park Hospital Neonatal Unit is on the first floor of the main hospital, adjacent to the Postnatal Ward.

You are welcome to phone us at any time about your baby, but information will only be given to parents. The direct number is: 0300 613 4357

If a baby requires more specialised care they may be transferred out to another unit in the region depending on their condition.

Hospital Parking

Parking facilities for patients are available at the front of the hospital. A 'pay on foot' system operates for parking so you'll need to remember to take your parking ticket with you and pay for your parking before returning to your vehicle. Pay machines are located at the front of the car park opposite the main entrance and the emergency department.  Payment can be made in cash or by card.
