Fraud Alert: Beware of Cold Callers

The NHS has been made aware of an increase in fraudulent cold callers claiming to represent GP practices or health providers. At this time of year, we urge everyone to remain vigilant and take extra care when sharing personal information.

Key advice:

• Always verify who you are speaking to.
• End the call immediately if you have any concerns.
• Report suspicious activity to the National Fraud & Cyber Crime Reporting Centre, Action Fraud.
