World Wellbeing Week 24 - 30 June

‘Let’s start the conversation.’

World Wellbeing Week is a global initiative where people around the world will be saying ‘Let’s start the conversation,’ and take advantage of the many diverse discussions that can be had during this wellbeing week.

Wellbeing can mean a multitude of things to many people: financial security, physical, mental, and emotional health, social resilience, empathy, community relations, and the environment – these aspects collectively contribute to our overall wellbeing.

This week is about raising awareness of these different areas of wellbeing, encouraging open conversations, and checking in with ourselves and with each other.

The NHS’s Five Steps to Mental Wellbeing is a simple, evidence-based guide that can support positive mental health. Introducing these steps into your life could help you feel more positive, and even small changes can have a big impact.

  1. Connect with people
  1. Be physically active
  1. Learn new skills
  1. Give to others
  1. Be present (mindfulness)

You can explore these steps in more detail here: 5 steps to mental wellbeing – NHS
